Icecast Project

The Icecast Project is a collection of Tools for Multimedia Streaming. It primarily maintains Icecast, an HTTP Live Streaming Server.

Other software components maintained by the Icecast Project are:

• IceS, a very simple Source Client for Icecast, which allows streaming files/playlists.
• libshout, a library which makes it very easy to write Source Clients for Icecast.
