Allocation matrix

How many bits per critical band (assuming 256 frame size)

  • modes.c: band_allocation[]

Minimum band width

Minimum number of MDCT bin allowed for a band, even if it means more than one Bark.

Folding decision

Decision when to turn folding on or off.

Transient decision

Decision when to use short blocks
