I recently purchased a Pretec Allegro, but have been unable to get it to play Oggs. I have yet to find out what the problem is, the booklet clearly states "File support: MP3/WMA/OGG". | |||

There are many more portable players by TrekStor than the i.beat 500 supporting ogg vorbis.

Pretec Allegro, not playing Oggs?
I recently purchased a Pretec Allegro, but have been unable to get it to play Oggs. I have yet to find out what the problem is, the booklet clearly states "File support: MP3/WMA/OGG". Another bit of feedback: there is a high-pitched whistle while the backlight is turned on. --Hugo
