SUBSCRIBERS

  * get contents of old list
  * subscribe the new list to the old list
  * add all the users from the old list to the new list
  * shut off subscription to the old list
  * mail out announce of new list addy

ARCHIVES

  * have the old list homepage redirect to the new list homepage
  * mirror old archives on new site somewhere
  * have old archive URLs redirect to new URLs
